here is something i've been experimenting with, on and off - playing with the Ben-Day Dots to allude to the four-color printing process, which now may come in handy with my attempt to make the hope adventures into a facsimile of vintage newspaper sunday color comics pages - we'll see how THAT goes...

i really dig the dots. it gives the colors a sense of texture without literally having texture applied.
it's neato!
yup - i'll have to see how it feels when it's applied to a full page, though - it may be too much...
